Pier
| This is one of the last complete background pictures I created. I really wanted to experiment with my pencils at this point and see what kind of different textures I could produce. Having done several trees in my animal pics, I pretty much followed my standard for the pier. I tried to get a grainy look with the sand and a denim look for the jeans. I've always had an affinity for old structures fallen into disrepair, which is where the scene came from. I actually spent some time hunting down old dock supports to use as a reference. |
