If Key West isn't the place with the most photographed sunset in the world, it
has to be up there somewhere in the top few places. There's something magical about
being at the southernmost spot in the country watching the sun dip
into the water. It makes you want to capture
that moment forever.
The view from Fort Taylor is quite splendid and many photographers were on hand to catch the spectacular close of the day. Tony "Poppa Ratsey" Callahan always chases the elusive "green flash" and he managed to catch it once again this year.
Sailing ships are also a popular sunset subject. Here are some of the fantastic sunset photos taken during PiP.
